On May 29th 2022 I officially received my ordainment as a Shamanic Minister.

Eligible since May 2018 after having gone through one cycle of five Shamanic Healing Initiatory Process (SHIP) weekends with Aahara Spiritual Community (a congregation of the Venus Rising Association for Transformation), I knew I was in no place to minister to others at that time.

Over the next four years, however, life provided numerous opportunities for growth, maturity, wisdom, confidence, and determination through numerous bittersweet experiences. When I realized that I was already living by Venus Rising's Shamanic Ministers' Code of Ethics I knew I was ready to take on the mantle of Shamanic Minister.

Once I did, however, I didn't really do anything with it, as I was still in the throes of survival mode.

Fast forward to 2025: I decided I would sign up for and virtually attend a two-part intensive Ministerial training offered by my friends at Freedom Folk and Soul. In July, I became a Sacred Celebrant, armed with knowledge and tools to conduct Weddings, Sacred Unions, Funerals, and Memorials. (In November, the plan is to then graduate as a Ceremonialist able to also offer Sacred Rites of Passage, Shamanic Initiations, and Elemental Rituals).

I'm still a "baby" minister, but the flame to serve is strong.
